Meet Vickey
Hi, I'm Vickey Vittes and I have been a QuickBooks ProAdvisor for over 25 years, and a certified tax preparer for over 10 years. ​I work with individuals and small businesses inside the state of California.

Happy Piggybank Company was founded in 2010, after I noticed a lack of financial services available to help small businesses in my local area.
​
When I began working with clients, their relief at my "regular person" approach was quite evident. In a world where the common perception of the average accounting professional is someone linear and dry, I most definitely march to the beat of a different drum.
The reality that money is a highly emotional issue for so many people is significantly under-recognized, and I think that's a big mistake. I think one starts with how a client feels about the state of their finances and builds from there.​
​​​The interwebs tell us that bookkeeping is so simple a monkey can do it, and that anyone can do their own taxes...for free, no less! Well, yes, this is true. You can also pull your own teeth (although...ouch!). It just depends on your desired results.​​​​

​Vickey previously worked in the entertainment industry and is a proud, card carrying member of IATSE Local 727;​

She is a certified 200hr RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher);

She holds a certification in Holistic Nutritional Lifestyle Coaching;

When she's not working, Vickey can usually be found at Dog Beach in Del Mar with her mini Australian Shepherd mix.​​​
